Mk 14:29a ... But the Stone said to him, ...

Verse 29 has three phrases containing 5 text and 7 dialog words. The first phrase has these 5 words, ... "Ho de Petros efē autō" (But the Stone said to him, ... ).

The 5 words are bottom up. Simon, seemingly shocked, denies what Jesus said in verse 27b that "All of you will fall away." Simon the Stone must be thinking, "Jesus, surely you can't mean me when you say everyone!"
