Mk 11:20b ... having been withered from (the) roots.

The last phrase has these 3 words ... eksērammenēn ek rhizōn [withered from (the) roots].

The 3 words are top down. The word rhizōn (roots) is plural in this phrase. The two disciples look down and see this fig tree had a large set of roots. The canopy of the fig tree is dried out and dead because the sun withered it's roots. This is the 22nd of 24 miracles Jesus performed in this gospel.
