Mk 8:12a ... And groaning up to the Spirit of him he says, ... "Why does this generation seek a sign?"

Verse 12 has 4 phrases and 21 words. The first two phrases have these 6 narrator and 6 dialog words ... Kai anastenaksas tō pneumati autou legei, Ti hē genea autē zētei sēmeion (And groaning up to the spirit of him he says, "Why the generation this does seek, a sign")?

The 6 narrator and 6 dialog words are top down. Jesus "groans up" (anastenaxas) from the center of the graph to the triangle which is his "Life" (Spirit). The word "generation" is just another way of saying a "crowd." This hypothetical diagram shows that if he wanted to do it, Jesus could show the pharisees their "sign from heaven."
