Mk 4:27a ... "and he may sleep and rise night and day."

27a

Verse 27 has 3 phrases and 17 dialog words. The 1st phrase has these 7 words, ... Kai katheudē kai egeirētai nukta kai hēmeran ("And he may sleep and rise night and day").

The 7 dialog words are bottom up. The first 2 words "Kai katheudē" (And he-may-sleep) are tangent to the dark triangle of the night directly over the sleeping (dead) man. The next 5 words "kai egeirētai nukta kai hēmeran" (and may rise night and day) offers the possibility that the man might rise on the third day. The black and white triangles show that the day and night circles inside them are the same size. The gap between the day and night circles looks like another day circle may exactly fill that space. The hands of Jesus are on the 7 words showing where to draw the day, the night, and the man sleeping down. The last 3 words (night and day) bracket the two triangles holding the "night and day." The third word ("day") lies in the middle of the gap between the Night and Day circles. Therefore the sleeping (dead) man may rise on the third day.
