Mk 2:23b ... and his disciples began to make 'a path,' picking the heads of grain.

The second and third phrases have these 10 narrator words, ... kai oi mathētai autou ērksanto hodon poiein, tillontes tous staxuas (and the disciples of him began a way to make, picking the heads of grain).

The second phrase of 7 words are top down. The word "ērksanto" (began) is in the center of the diagram, the word "hodon" (a way) is inside the bottom triangle (a sabbath), tangent to the sign of "the way," the last word "poiein" (to make) is tangent to the bottom of the graph. The third phrase of 3 words is bottom up, the only way the remaining words can go. The last 2 words "tous staxuas" are tangent to (the heads of grain). In this part of the verse the disciples are flagrantly breaking the Sabbath in many ways. The Greek word hē hodos has a gematria value of 352 units. The many intersecting circles with that diameter is the start of a road (a way) that is tangent to the Sabbaths. The 39 Melachot forbids all building and assembling activities. This includes all forms of writing, drawing, calculations and measurements, such as arranging circles inside a triangle. Also included is pitching a tent of any kind (such as a triangle). The end of the verse clarifies that the sowings are now ready for harvest. The Torah says "you can pluck the ears of your neighbor's standing grain with your hand" (Duet 23:25) but not on a Sabbath. It says "Six days you work, but on the seventh you shall rest (Ex. 34:21). The 39 Malachot forbids reaping, harvesting, and threshing any growing thing. You can't pick fruit, climb a tree, crack a nut, or even smell a flower. Jesus isn't breaking the Sabbath but his discples are breaking it, the ones tangent to the road (the way) and the same ones tangent to the seeds of the sun flowers, the grain from the heads of the crop.
