Watch - phulake

Definition: phulake (foo-lak-ay') Abstract Noun, Feminine - a Watch, an abstract noun meaning to guard, keep watch. The Greeks and Jews divided the twelve hours of the night into three watches, the Romans four. The place where captives are kept, a dungeon, a prison.

Diagram: By convention, the sign of an abstract noun is an equilateral triangle. The word phulake appears three times, only in chapter six. The first two instances implies the sign is a triangle located below ground level. The third confirms it.
