Temple Sanctuary - naos

Definition: Naos (nah-os') Noun, Masculine - Temple Sanctuary, used of the temple at Jerusalem, but only of the Holy Sanctuary, the Holy of Holies (in classical Greek the sanctuary or cell of the temple where the image of gold was placed)

Diagram: The Sign of the "Sanctuary" is a gold rectangle, one of the six which forms the sign of the temple. If the door of the temple was open, and the temple veil was open, you would be able to see the sanctuary, a room where the walls were lined with gold.

Mk 14:58a I will loose down the sanctuary made by hands.
Mk 15:29c Aha, the one bringing down the "temple sanctuary" ...
Mk 15:38 And the veil of the "temple sanctuary" was torn in two from top to bottom.
