Definition: Bethphage (bayth-fag-ay') Proper Noun, Indeclinable - Bethphage meaning a "house of unripe figs." The village of Bethphage is never mentioned in the Old Testament, Josephus, or any other non-Christian source before Mark. The ancient location is unknown.
