12:35 And having answered, Jesus said, teaching in the temple ...
How are the scribes saying that Christ is a Son of David?
12:36 David himself, in the Holy Spirit, said ... The Lord (God) said to my Lord (Christ) ...
Sit out of my right until I put your enemies under your feet.
12:37 David himself calls him Lord and ... Which place of him is he a son?
and the "crowd of many" heard him gladly.

Psalm 110

1 A psalm of David. The Lord says to my lord “Sit at my right until I make your enemies your footstool!”
2 The Lord extends your strong scepter from Zion. "Rule in the midst of your enemies!"
3 Your people offer themselves willingly in the day of your power, in holy array, from the womb of the morning, you have the dew of your youth.
4 The Lord has sworn and will not relent, “You are a priest forever like that of Melchizedek.”
5 The Lord at your right side will crush kings on the day of his wrath.
6 He will judge the nations, fill the valleys with dead, and crush heads over the vast earth.
7 He will drink of the brook in the way: then he lifts up his head.
