Twelve Apostles Icon

Verses 30-44 are not normal narrative sentences. The verses have many disjointed phrases ... but when paraphrased as in most bibles, the verses are made to appear like the report of a real historical event.  A careful and accurate translation of the Greek text reveals a multiplicity of puns and Gnostic metaphors.

6:30 And the apostles gathered together to face Jesus ...
and they reported to him everything that they did ...
  and what they taught.
6:31 And he says to them ... Come down privately by yourselves into a "wilderness place" ...
  and rest a little.
For the "ones coming" and the "ones under-leading" were many ...
and they did not have a "good time" to "eat."
6:32 And they departed in the "boat" ...
down into a "wilderness place" privately.
6:33 And they "perceived" them under-leading ...
and many know on them ...
and "on foot" from all of the "cities" they "ran together" there ...
and they arrived ahead of them.

6:34

And coming out, he perceived a vast crowd ...

and his "bowels were moved" on them ...
for they were like "sheep" not having a "shepherd" ...
and he began to "teach" them "many things."

6:35

And now becoming a "late hour" ...

coming to him, his disciples said that a "wilderness" is the "place."
and now ... a "late hour."

6:36

Send them away, so that coming away into the "encircling fields" and "villages" ...

they may buy for themselves what they may eat.
