| 5:01 |
And
they came into the "other side" of the sea ... |
| |
into
the region of the Gerasenes. |
| 5:02 |
And
having come out of the boat, he "immediately" met him, out of
the "tombs," a man in an "unclean spirit." |
| 5:03 |
Who
had down-housing in the tombs ... |
| |
and
not even to bind ... |
| |
"nobody"
was not yet able to bind him. |
| 5:04 |
Many
times he was bound through fetters and chains ... |
| |
and
the chains had been torn apart by him ... |
| |
and
the shackles had been smashed ... |
| |
and yet "nobody" was strong enough to tame him. |
| 5:05 |
And
through every night he was crying out in the "tombs"
and beating down on himself with "stones." |
| |
And
through every day he was crying out in the "mountains"
and beating down on himself with "stones." |
| 5:06 |
And
having seen Jesus from afar ... |
| |
he ran
... |
| |
and
worships him. |
| 5:07 |
And
crying to "sound great" he says ... What
is happening between me and you Jesus, Son of the most high
God! |
| |
I
implore you, by God, don't torture me! |
| 5:08 |
For
he was saying to him ... The unclean
spirit! ... |
| |
Come
out from the man! |
| 5:09 |
And
he was questioning him ... What is your
"name"? ... |
| |
and
he says to him ... LEGION is my name
... |
| |
because
we are many. |
| 5:10 |
And
he called upon him "greatly" that he not send them
out of the region. |
| 5:11 |
Now
there was there, with regard to the mountain ... a "great
herd of pigs" ... feeding |
| 5:12 |
And
they implored him saying ... Send us
into the "pigs" so that we may enter into them. |
| 5:13 |
And
he permitted them ... |
| |
and
having come out, the "unclean spirits" entered into
the "pigs" ... |
| |
And
the herd rushed down the "slope" ... |
| |
into
the sea ... |
| |
and
"about two thousand" ... |
| |
were
"drowned" in the sea. |
| 5:14 |
And
the ones feeding them fled ... |
| |
and they reported into the "city" ... |
| |
and
into the "fields" ... |
| |
and
they came to see what is happening. |
| 5:15 |
And
they come before Jesus ... |
| |
and
they see the one being "demon possessed" sitting,
clothed ... |
| |
and
being of sound mind ... |
| |
the
one having had the Legion ... |
| |
and
they were afraid. |
| 5:16 |
And
the ones perceiving it, lead them through what happened to the
one being demonized ... |
| |
and about the pigs. |
| 5:17 |
And
they began to implore him to leave from their "mountain
border." |
| 5:18 |
And
on stepping into the boat, the one having been demonized called
beside him that he might be with him.
. |
| 5:19 |
And
he did not permit him ... |
| |
but
he says to him ... Be "underleading
into your house" before the "ones who are yours" ... |
| |
and
report to them everything the Lord has done for you ... |
| |
and that he had "mercy" upon you. |
| 5:20 |
And
he left ... |
| |
and
he "begins proclaiming" in the Decapolis everything
that Jesus did for him ... |
| |
and
everyone marveled! |
