And again he began to teach beside the "sea." |
| And a "great crowd" gathered around him ... | |
| so he got into a "boat" to sit in the "sea." | |
| And all the "crowd" near the "sea" were on the "earth." | |
|
4:02

And he was teaching them in many "parables" ... |
| and he was saying to them in his "teaching" ... Listen! Behold! ... | |
| 4:03 | The "one" went out sowing to sow. |
| 4:04 | And it happened in the sowing, some indeed fell by "the way" ... |
| and the "flyers" came ... | |
| and they devoured it. | |
| 4:05 | And other fell on the "rock formation" where it did not have much "earth" ... |
| and immediately it sprang up, because it had no "depth of earth." | |
| 4:06 | And when the "sun" rose it was scorched ... |
| and because it did not have a "root" it withered. | |
| 4:07 | And other fell into the "thorn bushes" ... |
| and the "thorns" came up and choked it ... | |
| and it did not give "fruit." | |
| 4:08 | And others fell into the "good earth" ... |
| and stepping up, gave "fruit," ... | |
| and being grown up, it was bearing, ... one "thirty" ... | |
| and one "sixty" ... | |
| and "one" ... "one hundred." |
The Challenge to Solve "the Mystery"
| 4:09 | And he was saying ...Who has "ears" to hear, let him hear! |
| 4:10 | And when he was alone by himself, the ones around him with "the twelve" were asking him (about) the "parables." |
| 4:11 | And he was saying to them ... To you has been given the "Mystery" of the "Kingdom of God" ... |
| but to those ... "the ones outside,"... everything comes in "parables." | |
| 4:12 | In order that seeing, they may "see" ... |
| and they may "not perceive" ... | |
| and hearing, they may "hear" ... | |
| and they may "not understand" ... | |
| lest they should "turn" and it should be "forgiven" them. | |
| 4:13 | And he says to them ... Do you not understand this "parable"? |
| And then how will you come to know "all the parables"? |
The Solution
| 4:14 | The "one" sowing "the word" sows. |
| 4:15 | And these are the ones beside "the way" where "the word" is sown ... |
| and when they hear ... immediately "the satan" comes ... | |
| and he takes "the word" having been sown into them. | |
| 4:16 | And these are the ones being sown upon the "rock formations" ... |
| who when they hear "the word" immediately with "joy" receive it. | |
| 4:17 | And they do not have a "root" in themselves but are "short lived" ... |
|
then "pressure" comes or "persecution" on account of "the word" ... |
|
| immediately they are "ensnared." | |
| 4:18 | And others are the ones being sown into the "thorns" ... |
| These are the ones having heard "the word." | |
| 4:19 | And the worries of the "eons" ... |
| and the seduction of "riches" ... | |
| and the desires for the "remaining things" coming in choke "the word" ... | |
| and it becomes "un-fruitful." | |
| 4:20 | And those are the ones upon the "good earth" having been sown ... |
| who hear "the word" ... | |
| and take up and bear "fruit" ... | |
| one ... "thirty" ... | |
| and one ... "sixty" ... | |
| and "one" ... | |
| "one hundred." |
